Below is the auto insurance that my husband and I use for our cars while we are driving in BAJA:
MAPFRE TEPEYAC, S.A.
this is a Liability only policy for the use of autos with foreigh registration plates. This policy includes LEGAL AID and BAIL BOND. If you cause an accident, or injure a Mexican citizen, you can find yourself in some hot water. For 2 cars our total for the year is $148.50 US dollars. The provisions on our annual policy are:
$25,000 property damage liabilty, each accident
$25,000 boduly injury liability, each person
$50,000 each accident
There are insurance agents in almost all Baja towns. We purchased this policy through a local agent.

Medical Insurance for Travelers and Expatriates.
